Control every phase, deadline and pound on account.
ConstructionControl.app gives owners and developers a single place to plan the build, hold contractors to the schedule, and govern the money held on account — as a real ledger with a complete audit trail, not a number someone can type over.
Set up an organisation and your first project in a few minutes. No card required.
The balance is computed, never edited.
Most tools show money as a field on a form — and a field can be overwritten, leaving no trace of what it said before. Here every movement is an append-only ledger entry, and the balance is derived from those entries. Corrections are posted as reversals, so the trail stays intact and yesterday’s number is still there tomorrow.
Every state of the money
Received, unallocated, allocated, released, certified, approved spend and bank balance — each one a distinct, reportable state rather than a single opaque total.
Funding coverage, ahead of time
See whether the money on account actually covers the payment moments coming up, before you commit to them — not after the invoice lands.
An audit trail that holds up
Who changed what, when, and what it was before. Amounts are stored as whole pence — never floating point — so totals reconcile exactly.
Plan it once, then watch it hold.
The plan and the money are the same structure, so progress on site and spend on paper never drift into separate spreadsheets.
The question is never what a project cost. It is what it will cost by the time it finishes, and whether the money to finish it is already on account.
Why this existsBreak the work into four levels
Phase, subphase, task and subtask — deep enough for a real programme, shallow enough that people keep it up to date. Each level carries its own budget and dates.
Fund it and allocate
Register client payments into the account, then allocate against the work that needs it. Unallocated money stays visible instead of quietly disappearing into a total.
Contractors report, owners approve
Progress and expenditure come from the people doing the work. Nothing is certified or released until the owner approves it.
Compare against expected progress
Expected progress is derived from today’s date, so anything trailing the plan is flagged on its own. Parents roll up budget-weighted completion and summed money automatically.
Permissions enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI.
Hiding a button is not access control. Every rule below is checked in the backend on every request, so a contractor cannot reach an owner’s figures by another route. All data is scoped to your organisation.
Sets budgets, registers client payments, allocates money, approves expenditure, invites the team.
Maintains the plan, keeps dates and progress current, prepares work for the owner’s approval.
Reports progress and submits expenditure on their own work. Cannot edit budgets, register payments, allocate money, or approve their own spend.
The rest of the day-to-day.

In-app notifications for what needs you, and a per-project history of everything that changed.
Put the next project on a ledger you can trust.
Create an organisation, add your first project, and invite the people who need to see it. You can start from an example project to see the shape of it first.
